Schmitt Ultraschalltechnik GmbH is based in Germany and serves several industry segments with special solutions for ultrasonic cleaning of miscellaneous materials and products. Since the introduction of our systems to the 3D printing market in 2012, we have continuously optimised our solutions based on the gained practical experience. The systems are available with different basket volumes from 20 to 1000 liters. The ideal calibration and matching of frequency, amplitude, cleaning liquid, interval timing and temperature enables us to offer very time and cost efficient solutions.
All Schmitt systems are available as straight Turbulent Flow systems and as a combined Ultrasound/Turbulent Flow systems. The combined Ultrasonic/Turbulent Flow version is controlled by an electronic interval program: the Ultrasonic Sound sequence loosens the particles; the Turbulent Flow sequence dissolves the particles and washes them off. With our current development of ultrasound based systems for dyeing 3D prints (EOS & HP) Schmitt Ultraschalltechnik enters a new area with an interesting growth potential.
SUT ships and supports worldwide. One of our far-distance-customers is Juan Schutte and his team at the University of Auckland in New Zealand using a SUT90 USFL system for removing support material from their Mimaki prints.
